hi i'm suzie!
I'm a Level 3 qualified Pilates Instructor and a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. I'm also a qualified Pre & Post Natal Instructor, I'm trained in Reformer Pilates and Barre, and I'm a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist.
You'll find me most days teaching classes, so naturally yoga and Pilates are a huge part of my life, but I also love being a student and developing my own practice. The physical and mental benefits of a regular yoga and Pilates practice are enormous and have had such a positive impact on my life. Yoga and Pilates have helped me through pregnancy, a stressful architectural career, back pain, a divorce and life as a single Mum!
My love of yoga and Pilates eventually led me to train first as a Pilates Instructor, and more recently as a Yoga Teacher. I was scared to study something totally new as an adult and had no idea how I'd ever stand up at the front of a class! But I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone and give it a go, with no expectations and no regrets. I truly adore my job and I’m so pleased I decided to pursue something I was passionate about, and finally take the huge, scary leap into self employment and business ownership!
When I'm not teaching or massaging you'll find me outside doing something active; surfing (badly!), skiing, paddleboarding, walking or hiking. I love spending time with my family, enjoy camping in our 1978 VW campervan, travelling as much as I possibly can and as much as my credit card can handle, binge watching Netflix, my morning coffee, dancing until I can barely stand, and live music. I also love food and enjoy any excuse for a meal out, hence why I created our Yoga & Pilates Brunch events!
I have attempted to learn so many sports and activities whilst over the age 30, so I'm very familiar with being a beginner! If you're considering joining a class please don't worry about being a beginner, nobody will be watching you and I promise it will be far less embarrassing and painful than learning to ski as an adult!!
